The Center for Head Injury Services is looking for a new Adult Day Program Coordinator who has supervisory experience and enjoys facilitating fun and enriching activities for program participants.

JOB TITLE: Day Program Coordinator
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full time, 40 hours/week; Exempt
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Adult Day Program.


  • Oversee activities and services provided as well as the development and implementation of individualized and person-centered program plans.
  • Communicate on an on-going basis with participants, families, funding sources and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate major recreational events, community integrations and volunteer activities.
  • Develop contacts and relationships with referal sources and community resources.
  • Market services to community providers and families.
  • Consult with community resources as appropriate to recruit program participants and initiate funding for services.
  • Complete required documentation including daily log notes, monthly reports and records of billable time usage.
  • Review and complete authorizations and submit monthly billing within the deadline of funder.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in field of psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation services or related field preferred. Experience in working with people with disabilities required, experience with head injured population preferred. Must be certified in CPR, first aid and MANDT (these trainings will be provided upon hire along with required agency trainings).
